I received my MS in Statistics and Ph.D. in Animal Breeding and Genetics with a focus on Molecular Immunogenetics from Iowa State University and joined the Department of Biostatistics at St. Jude in July 2002. During the past 12 years, I have collaborated extensively with principal investigators from the Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Controls and other institutes on many studies from the St. Jude Lifetime Study (SJLIFE) and the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS). SJLIFE targets the long-term effects of cancer treatments and provides follow-ups and supportive care to survivors of childhood cancer treated at St. Jude, while CCSS includes follow-ups of a total of 30,000 childhood cancer survivors and siblings with questionnaires to help researchers to develop health programs for cancer survivors and clinical trials. In 2017, I received my Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Memphis which equipped me with a stronger background in biostatistics and research in the field of Epidemiology. Computer software SAS, Mplus, along with R, among others are my areas of expertise that I use in my day-to-day work.
